Student Leadership Program (PLE)

Our student leadership program is designed to develop leaders inside and outside of the classroom. Students who opt to participate in the program will further their leadership skills through a series of hands-on exercises using Design Thinking mindsets. During this process, the following will be developed:

• Empathy

• Personal empowerment

• Openness to new ideas and creativity

• Communication skills

• Ability to work in a group

• Emotional intelligence

• Critical thinking

• Work under time constraints

In addition, they will have the opportunity to participate as a Teacher's Assistants during EntreSesiones. Participating in this program will count as part of their community service hours.  At the end of this experience, CDTIE will provide a certification of the program to accredit the work of the student volunteer. Their participation hours are recorded before and after the start of each experience with us. The program also includes tours and experiences outside of the school.
